The National Weather Service now provides access to our own radar images directly from our site. Base reflectivity and composite reflectivity images are available, as well as radar-estimated 1-hour and storm total precipitation. Still images, as well as loops, of this data are available. Generally, radar data will only be from 10 to 15 minutes old. If selected radar images are unavailable or old, check the status link for information.
Please note: Due to bandwidth limitations, auto-refresh is not available on radar images. Hit reload or refresh on your browser to load new images. If your computer will not display radar loops, make sure your browser will display Java. This can usually be found under the following:
Tools > Internet Options > Advanced on Explorer
Edit > Preferences > Advanced on Netscape
