Information on problems viewing or downloading PDF files
Most methods in Pesticide Analytical Manual Volume II were developed by pesticide registrants and submitted to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to fulfill the requirement that a method suitable for enforcement be available. EPA and FDA are currently considering approaches to making methods available electronically.
An updated index to PAM II methods is available in both Adobe Acrobat pdf (86 Kb) and plain text (42 Kb) formats. The index lists pesticides both alphabetically by name and numerically by appropriate section(s) of Code of Federal Regulations Title 40.
On most browsers, the Acrobat Reader can be configured as a Plug-in or Helper Application that will directly open pdf files for viewing and/or printing. However, often the most convenient way to use large pdf files is to download them to your hard disk and open them separately with the Acrobat Reader. To download PDF files:Netscape/Windows: hold down the SHIFT key when you click on the link
Internet Explorer/Windows: RIGHT CLICK on the link and choose "Save target as..."
Netscape or Internet Explorer/Macintosh: hold down the OPTION key when you click on the link
