DLP Cooperators FAS maintains a public-private partnership with the U.S. industry to promote exports of dairy, livestock, and poultry products. The Foreign Market Development Cooperator Program is one of the oldest FAS market development efforts abroad. Projects are conducted by FAS, in cooperation with nonprofit commodity trade associations, to promote a variety of U.S. products. Cooperator projects acquaint potential foreign customers with U.S. agricultural products to show them how these products might be used to their benefit, helping to create or stimulate demand for U.S. exports.
