There are many nearby places for visitor and family activities. Around the Tidal Basin, there are paddle boats that can be rented an hour at a time. The pavillion closes at dusk. The cost is $7-8 per hour. Take a moment to explore the Teaching with Historic Places lesson plan and supporting material created to help tell the story of the park.
