Year 2000 Information for NSF Grantees

Like other Federal agencies, oversight of the Year 2000 problem at the National Science Foundation is the responsibility of the office of the Chief Information Officer (CIO). To assist the grantee community (including FFRDCs), NSF has developed this Y2K web site. Our goal is to minimize disruption to the research and education community by helping you to:

Internal NSF Year 2000 Information

All of NSF's mission critical systems were validated as Y2K compliant well before the Federal Government's deadline of March 1999. By August 1999, all non-mission critical systems had been fixed or replaced. Business continuity and contingency planning is underway.
