Throughout our country's history, the men and women of the U.S. Armed
Services have answered the call to defend our country and its freedom.
Wherever they have served, America's troops and veterans have made incredible
sacrifices to ensure the safety and security of our nation. They are
part of World War II's "Greatest Generation". They fought bravely in
Korea and Vietnam. They are currently stationed in Iraq and are fighting
the war against terrorism.
Their service is immeasurable. Our commitment to them must be the same.
