When using the link above the group code and rate will automatically load. Reservations must be made directly with the hotel no later than January 21, 2005, to ensure room availability and to receive the conference room rate. All reservations must be guaranteed with a first night’s deposit, which will be charged against your credit card (refundable up to 72 hours in advance of the conference date). Be sure to request a nonsmoking room if desired. In the event of a cancellation less than 72 hours before arrival, this deposit will be forfeited. If you cancel your reservation, make sure you receive a cancellation number. Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. Check-out time is 12:00 p.m

Diplomat Travel is the official travel agency for the 19th National Conference on Chronic Disease Prevention and Control. To reserve your flight, call Diplomat Travel at (800) 476-2333 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. (EST). When requesting reservations or information, please refer to the 2005 Chronic Conference.

Ground Transportation from the Airport
Transportation from Hartsfield Airport to the hotel is available via The Atlanta Link. This service is located in the ground transportation area (section C, stalls 10-14). The hours of operation are 6 a.m.–12 a.m., 7 days a week, and the costs are $16 one-way and $28 round-trip. You may find additional information or make a reservation at www.theatlantalink.com. The Atlanta Airport Shuttle also provides transportation from the airport, located at the ground transportation level. Hours of operation are 7 a.m.–11 p.m. daily and 8 a.m.–11 p.m. on Sundays. The cost is $19 one-way and $32 round-trip. Cab fare from the airport to downtown is approximately $18, one-way. In addition, Atlanta’s MARTA (Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority) provides service from the airport to downtown. The airport MARTA station is located near baggage claim, and the cost is $1.75 one-way. From the Airport [S7] Station, board the Northbound train and exit at the Peachtree Center [N1] Station.
