Homeland Security Monitoring Network

Welcome to the Environmental Measurements Laboratory's (EML) Homeland Security Monitoring Network (HSMN) web page. EML has deployed a prototype radiation monitoring platform on the roof of the GSA building at 201 Varick Street, New York City.

The following web pages will show the radiation levels measured by a pressurized ionization chamber (PIC) and a Comprehensive Radiation Sensor (CRS), as well as the results of high resolution gamma-ray analyses of aerosols collected on filter papers.
