Celebrating 50 Years

National Science Foundation staff gather outside NSF headquarters in Arlington, Va. for a "Sidewalk Ice Cream Social" in mid-June -- the kick-off event for celebrating the National Science Foundation's 50th anniversary (NSF50). NSF employees were given NSF50 logo lapel pins and over 160 employees having 25 plus years of continuous NSF service were given gold NSF 50 lapel pins.
