Come Join us for the ICDL birthday party!!!- We would like to invite you to celebrate with us. The 2nd Anniversary of the International Children's Digital Library (ICDL). Join us on December 2nd, 2004, 4pm (16:00pm), at the Clyde Quay School, 27 Elizabeth Street, Mt. Victoria, Wellington, NZ. RSVP to: allisond@umiacs.umd.edu.

We are planning a number of ICDL Birthday parties celebrating the ICDL throughout the world. Therefore, if you can't join us in New Zealand, plan to attend one of our other celebrations to be announced soon!

October 18, 2004:
New Search Tools for the ICDL - Over the last year, we have worked with children to develop new ways to search the ICDL (Simple & Location). We have also developed a more sophisticated tool that may appeal to adults (Advanced). Feel free to try out these new tools and tell us what you think.

July 23, 2004:
New Books - The ICDL now has 45 new books from Serbia, 32 new books from the Philippines, 16 new books from Kenya, and 73 new books from Iran, including 11 IBBY Award Winners.
