FEMA Region II serves the federal emergency management
needs of the State of New York, the State of New Jersey, the Commonwealth
of Puerto Rico and the Territory of the U.S. Virgin Islands. Region
II employs 67 full-time employees, and can draw on a cadre of over
700 Disaster Temporary Employees (DTEs) or "reservists"
during a Presidential Disaster Declaration.
