NSF Director to Present 2003 Director's Awards

National Science Foundation Director Rita R. Colwell will present the 3rd Annual Director's Awards for Distinguished Teaching Scholars to six awardees at 6 p.m. June 3 at the National Academy of Sciences. Each award carries with it a $300,000 grant for the development of innovative ways to incorporate laboratory research into mathematics, science, technology and engineering instruction geared toward all undergraduate students regardless of major.
