Procurement Forecast

Welcome to the Federal Highway Administration's (FHWA's) proposed forecast for the current Fiscal Year. We will update this forecast periodically as new information becomes available. A revised copy is available in print every six months. To request a hard copy please call the National Information Clearing House (NIC) on 1-800-532-1169.

The forecast provides information on individual requirements. We encourage potential offerors to review our projects and to respond with expressions of interest. In many instances the acquisition strategy (full and open, small business set-aside, etc.) has not yet been determined.

If one or more of the projects looks promising to your company, you may submit a capability brochure to either me or to the designated technical official for each requirement you believe your firm to be qualified for. Your brochure should provide significant information about your organization, the type of work your organization has been performing, and a brief resume for each of your key professional staff. This will provide FHWA valuable information on the extent of interest in our future requirements and identify potential offerors to the FHWA.

Please be advised that by submitting a capability brochure, it does not guarantee placement of your organization on our source list. When a competitive requirement is ready for issuance, it will be synopsized on the GSA Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) web site. I recommend that you monitor FedBizOpps and review each solicitation when it becomes available. If the requirement is set-aside for the 8(a) program, and has a total estimated cost of less than $3,000,000, the FHWA will identify the firm and coordinate the effort with the Small Business Administration. 8(a) Requirements that exceed $3,000,000 will be competed among 8(a) firms and advertised in FedBizOpps.
