Dr. Kevin Czajkowski and researchers at the University of Toledo would like to announce a field campaign for GLOBE students to take surface temperature observations. We need as many surface temperature observations as possible during the intensive period November 1-12, 2004. In order to participate, a GLOBE-trained school must have an infrared (non-contact) thermometer that meets GLOBE specifications (see bottom of this announcement) and follow the directions given in the Surface Temperature Protocol.
