GIS Day, Nov 17, 2004, is part of the National Geographic Society's initiative to promote geographic education in schools and communities. In recognition of GIS Day, GLOBE is inviting all GLOBE schools to participate in our "Where on Earth?" activity to validate the latitude, longitude, and elevation of your school and study sites.
