NLM Reading Rooms and Services:
Photocopier Services

Self-Service Photocopiers are available in the Main Reading Room.

Your library card acts as a debit card for the photocopying machines, the microform reader-printer, and the laser printers at each workstation. You can add money to your card at either of the DAC Cashier machines. Copies are 11 cents if the debit card is used or 15 cents if coins are used. Laser printouts are 11 cents a page (with the debit card only). Receipts are available from the DAC Cashier machines only.

A color copier/laser printer is available - ask the Photocopy and Registration staff for assistance. Color copies are $1.00 per page.

Floppy disks are available for $1.00 each at the Vend-A-Disk machine.

An ADA accessible photocopier is available for patron use. Researchers with disabilities requiring additional assistance may consult the Photocopier Technician on duty.

The National Library of Medicine also provides Overnight Photocopy Service for a fee to researchers needing a high volume of materials.
