upstream from Ipswich.

REMARKS.--Records good except those for estimated daily discharges, which
are fair. Diversions upstream for municipal supply of Reading, Lynn, Peabody,
Danvers, Salem, and Beverly. Some regulation by reservoirs upstream. Telephone
and satellite gage-height telemeter at station.
