USGS 01105554 NEPONSET RIVER AT GREENLODGE ST NEAR CANTON, MA

  LOCATION

LOCATION.--Lat 42o12'33", long 71o08'47", Norfolk County, Hydrologic Unit 01090001, on right bank 5 ft upstream from Greenlodge Street Bridge and about 800 ft upstream from I-95/Rt. 128 near Canton.
DRAINAGE AREA.--83.7 mi2.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--May 2004 to current year.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder with satellite telemeter. Datum of gage is 40 ft above NGVD 1929 (from topographic map).
REMARKS.--Records good. Flow affected by municipal supply of Canton and Stoughton and by other diversions upstream..
COOPERATION BY: Town of Canton.
