USGS 01111200 WEST RIVER BELOW WEST HILL DAM, NR UXBRIDGE, MA

  LOCATION

LOCATION.--Lat 42 06'17", long 71 36'28", Worcester County, Hydrologic Unit 01090003, on 
right bank 250 ft downstream from West Hill Dam, 2.2 mi northeast of Uxbridge, and 3.5 mi upstream 
from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA.--27.9 mi2.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--March 1962 to current year (data publication discontinued September 30, 1990).
REVISED RECORDS.--WDR MA-RI-83-1: 1982(M).
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder and concrete control. Datum of gage is 234.35 ft above sea level
(U.S.Army Corps of Engineers benchmark).
REMARKS.--Records good except those for estimated daily discharges, which are fair. Flow regulated
by West Hill Reservoir (station 01111195), usable capacity, 542,000,000 ft3. Satellite and telephone gage-height
telemeter at station.
