upstream side of highway bridge at Van Deusenville, 0.5 mi upstream from
Williams River, and 2 mi north of Great Barrington.
DRAINAGE AREA.--282 mi2.

REMARKS.--Records good except those for estimated daily discharges, which
are poor. Regulation at low flow by powerplants upstream. High flow slightly
affected by retarding reservoir since 1973. Telephone and satellite
gage-height telemeters at station.
