Access Board

The Access Board or Architectural and Transportation Compliance Board provides technical assistance the ADA Accessibility guidelines.

Disability Rights Education Defense Fund (DREDF) ADA Hotline
The DREDF ADA Hotline is funded by the U. S. Department of Justice specifically to provide technical assistance on the ADA.

Internal Revenue Service (IRS)
The Internal Revenue Service provides information and appropriate forms for tax code provisions that can assist businesses in complying with the ADA, including a tax credit for small businesses (section 44 - IRS Form 8826 - See IRS Publication 334) and a tax deduction for all businesses (section 190 - No Separate IRS Form - See IRS Publication 535) The IRS also provides the form (IRS 8850) that employers must complete when filing for the Work Opportunity Tax Credit.

Job Accommodation Network (JAN)
JAN, a service of the Office of Disability Employment Policy, is a toll-free information and referral service on job accommodations for people with disabilities; on the employment provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act; and on resources for technical assistance, funding, education, and services related to the employment of people with disabilities. In addition, JAN analyzes trends and statistical data related to the technical assistance it provides.

Regional Disability and Business Technical Assistance Centers
The Regional Disability and Business Technical Assistance Centers are located in each of the ten federal regions.They are funded by the Department of Education specifically to provide technical assistance on the ADA.

U.S.Census Bureau
The U.S. Census Bureau provides demographic data on people with disabilities.

U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ)
The U.S. Department of Justice offers technical assistance on the ADA Standards for Accessible Design and other ADA provisions applying to businesses, non-profit service agencies and state and local government programs.
