Local Aviation Products

The National Weather Service in Tallahassee issues terminal aerodrome forecasts (TAFs) for the general aviation community for five airports in our County Warning & Forecast Area. We also issue transcribed weather enroute broadcast (TWEB) forecasts for air routes from Jacksonville to Tallahassee and from Tampa to Cross City to Tallahassee.

These include:

  • TLH Tallahassee Regional Airport
  • PFN Panama City-Bay County International Airport
  • DHN Dothan Municipal Airport
  • ABY Southwest Georgia Regional Airport at Albany
  • VLD Valdosta Regional Airport

Our office also issues general aviation route forecasts (known as TWEBs -- Transcribed Weather Enroute Broadcasts) for the following routes:

  • JAX-TLH TWEB Route 112 (Jacksonville-Tallahassee)
  • TPA-CTY-TLH TWEB Route 117 (Tampa-Cross City-Tallahassee)
