The University of Hawaii and Hawaiian Electric Company, Inc. (HECO)
have teamed up to host the one-day Labs21 Design Course on Wednesday,
November 17.

The course will run from 8:00AM-4:30PM. Please arrive at 7:30AM
for check-in.

57KB) and fax it to the University of Hawaii at 808-956-3014. The
registration fee for this course is $75, which includes course materials.
HECO is generously providing food and refreshments for all course

About the Hosts
The University of Hawaii,
in collaboration with the Labs21 program, has established a Center
of Excellence for Marine-Based Laboratories. This Center will bring
special focus to the issues and opportunities that are specific
to aquaria, as well as research and teaching marine-based laboratories.
This is the first Center of its kind dedicated to improving the
design and operational efficiencies of these unique facilities.
