Region 10 Grants Application Handbook - 2004

The Region 10 Grants Application Kit has been revised for 2004. It is now structured as a step-by-step handbook. We hope that approach is helpful for both new and returning applicants.

The Application Handbook is divided into two major sections:

  1. An instructional section, which covers pre-application issues, work plans, detailed budgets, filling out the SF 424 and SF 424A, and assembling and submitting your application package.
  2. A section of appendices, which includes all the blank forms necessary to complete an application package, as well as other helpful information.

The Application Handbook is in PDF format. The advantages to using the handbook in this format are:
  • Links from the Table of Contents page to each major section in the handbook;
  • Links from the title page of Appendix A to the individual forms within that appendix;
  • Links from all web sites cited in the handbook to the actual sites.
  • Individual pages can be selected and printed. This is especially handy for the blank forms and certifications in Appendix A, as it makes them easier to work with than trying to remove them from a bound paper version.

The blank forms in this handbook do not have "fill and print" capability at this time.

This document has been tested using both 5.0 and 6.0 versions of the Adobe Acrobat Reader, and all essential features work as designed. If older versions of the reader are used, there is no guarantee it will work as designed.

In addition to the above, please read this concerning limitations on fees paid to consultants with grant funds.
