SPOTLIGHT ON FARMWORKER HEALTH/MIGRANT STREAM FORUMS
CDC's Office of Minority Health (OMH) and the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) collaborate with the National Center for Farmworker Health, Inc. on three annual Farmworker Stream Forums.

The Stream Forums represent a combined national effort to provide opportunities for migrant health providers and others who work with the population to enhance skills, create networking and collaboration opportunities, and to identify additional resources, program models and effective training for the more efficient provision of health care services to farmworkers.

The Farmworker Stream Forum focuses on issues and training techniques geared to assist colleagues in improving the health and well being of migrant and seasonal farmworkers and their families.
The forum provides one of the largest national venues for networking with professionals spanning the migrant health field. In addition, participants are encouraged to share new ideas and innovative strategies while gaining farmworker-specific continuing education accreditation in the following disciplines: Medical, Dental, Nursing, Health Education, and Social Work.
