NCEH/ATSDR GLOBAL HEALTH PRIORITIES

NCEH/ATSDR has identified five global health priorities that represent the most important and challenging environmental public health concerns facing the world in the next 10–15 years. These five priorities will serve as the cornerstone of NCEH/ATSDR efforts to strengthen and protect global environmental health in the coming years. These priorities are

  1. Access to Safe Water, Sanitation and Hygiene
  2. Emergency Response and Preparedness, (including terrorism)
  3. Hazardous Substances
  4. Food Safety and Nutrition
  5. Indoor/Outdoor Air Pollution
