Disaster Epidemiology and Assessment


Consultation and Training

We respond to requests for information from state, local or foreign health departments; Federal agencies; non-governmental organizations; professional interest groups; international organizations; academic institutions; and foreign governments. Upon request, we may provide:

  • Scientific consultation and technical assistance
  • Disaster training
  • Specialized lectures on epidemiology in disaster settings
A Training Session on Disaster Response Dr. Dahna Batts-Osborne presents a series of lectures on disaster response at a World Health Organization-sponsored training course in Ahmedabad, India where a massive struck Gujurat state in January 2001.
