CLASSROOM ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS Classroom Enrichment Programs: Designed from Virginia's Standards of Learning (SOLs) requirements, Colonial National Historical Park offers educational programs on the historic site to enhance your students' academic experiences. Student participation is encouraged through use of the inquiry method and hands-on activities. Programs can be reserved on weekdays from October through May. There is a $30.00 interpretive fee for each program. To arrange for a program, call the Interpretive Program Coordinator at (757) 898-2411. To ensure a program for your class, please call a least two months and no more than five months in advance. PROGRAM RESERVATION PROCEDURES: Colonial National Historical Park offers special reserved programs at Jamestown (the Original Site) and Yorktown Battlefield. There is an interpretive fee for reserved educational programs and reserved walking tours.
EDUCATIONAL ENTRANCE FEE WAIVERS: If your group is an educational institution recognized by a federal, state or local government and is visiting Colonial National Historical Park at Jamestown or Yorktown to satisfy curriculum requirements, you may be eligible to receive a waiver of entrance fees into the park.
JAMESTOWN SELF-GUIDED ACTIVITIES: If your school group will not have time to attend one of the Classroom Enrichment programs this program will help guide you and your students through Jamestown without the assistance of a ranger.
