Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

HUD employs sound financial management practices to help meet the Department's mission to promote adequate and affordable housing, economic opportunity, and a suitable living environment free from discrimination.

CFO staff functions include: accounting, budget, and financial management for HUD's $30 billion appropriation. In addition, CFO financial systems process millions of transactions annually to support HUD projects and meet the needs of the housing community.
