You are here: Home > Panel Documents

Welcome to the portion of our Web site where information created by the Panel is made available to you. As we carry out our duties, formal documents will be prepared from time to time. It is our desire to share them with all interested parties by posting them here. We have also included access to other information and documents used frequently by the Panel.

In the reports area you will find copies of the annual interim progress report and other reports that the Panel submits to the Commissioner of the Social Security Administration, the President and Congress.

In addition to reports, the Panel will communicate its advice through Official Correspondence. Visit this page to review letters from the Panel to the President, the Congress and the Social Security Administration about the Ticket to Work and Self - Sufficiency Program and other Federal programs that affect the employment of people with disabilities.

In the Briefing Papers area you can access materials that have been prepared for the Panel to help them provide advice to the President, the Congress, and the Social Security Administration.

While preparing documents, the Panel often refers to its duties and responsibilities specifically outlined by two pieces of legislation linked here.

In the Long Range Plan and Yearly Priorities area, you will find information regarding the Panel’s planning process, how it selects the issues about which it has decided to provide advice and the issue area topics that it is deliberating upon for the current year. We are also pleased to share information created by others with you in listing useful links and related documents.
