The Health On the Net Foundation (HON), created in 1995, is a Non-Governmental Organization under the aegis of the Direction générale de la santé Département de l'Action Sociale et de Santé (DASS - République et canton de Genève, Switzerland). HON's mission is to guide lay persons or non-medical users and medical practitioners to useful and reliable online medical and health information.
