"Grandpa kept saying he was so glad that he lived to see our 50th.
Well, it wasn’t really our 50th, it was our 49th, and
we didn’t have the heart to tell him.
"So the kids, they all went out and bought a 50th anniversary
cake and brought little gifts, and we had a party back in the bedroom.
"And he said that he had the best day he ever had.
"But he said 'You know, sometimes you have the best day, before you go
home.'"
