This Web site provides access to millions of pages of tobacco company documents that have been produced in civil smoking and health litigation in the United States. This site provides links to the four major tobacco company Web sites, as well as the Council on Tobacco Research and the Tobacco Institute.
Detailed information about the Minnesota Document Depository is available on the Tobacco Archives site. Almost all of the documents available at the Minnesota Tobacco Document Depository are also available on the document archives through this site.
Many of the documents, indices and viewing capabilities are brought together here because of the November 23, 1998, Master Settlement Agreement between the tobacco industry 46 states’ attorneys general.
This site provides a link to the Tobacco Resolution Web site, which also offers links to the tobacco company Web sites for document searching. The site also provides updates on legislation and the settlement of tobacco litigation.
To search the tobacco company documents, click Search Archives from the Tobacco Archives home page. Icons for each company, as well as the Council on Tobacco Research and the Tobacco Industry are provided at the bottom of the search page. Click the icon of the company you wish to search.
