The ASPIRA Association is the only national nonprofit organization devoted solely to serving Puerto Rican and Latino youth through leadership development and education. Each year, ASPIRA serves 25,000 youth and their families through a variety of educational programs and activities that help them develop their leadership skills, academic skills, self-esteem, community involvement, and awareness and pride in their cultural background. In the area of math and science education, ASPIRA has developed the ASPIRA Mathematics And Science (MAS) Academy. The ASPIRA MAS Academy is a national math and science enrichment program for Latino youth. A wide variety of math and science resources are availalble on-line including teacher resources, on-line magazines, parent information, newsletters, student resources and other resources.
