This is a Flash animation. A full description appears below. This is an introductory animation in Macromedia Flash. With a map of the United States in pastel colors as the backdrop, the letters of the words Web Rangers fly onto the screen. When the words are complete, a drawing of a ranger hat loops in and hangs on "R" of the word Rangers. A banner moves across the top of the frame with the words "National Park Service, United States Department of the Interior," and an image of the National park Service Logo (a brown arrowhead with a mountain, tree and buffalo inside. Enter the site by clicking on the welcome link above. Many of the activities inside are accessible to audible browsers. Although the links are not visible to the casual visitor, they generally appear right before the Flash game interactions, and contain the same content and interactive potential as the Flash animations.
