Distance learning courses covering a variety of subjects are a cost- effective method of training and can be accomplished at the work-site. Methods include correspondence, computer disc-read only memory (CD- ROM), computer-based training (CBT), video-teletraining and multi-media. Distance Learning is available through the Department of the Interior University, USDA Graduate School and local colleges and universities
