n Eligibility for Unemployment Compensation
n Contesting Awards to Unemployment Compensation
The Unemployment Compensation for Federal Employees (UCFE) program provides unemployment compensation (UC) benefits to former Federal civilian employees who qualify. The State Employment Security Agencies, through an agreement with the Department of Labor (DOL), determine eligibility for UCFE benefits based on the applicable State UC law. Additionally, the DOL requires Federal Agencies to establish internal procedures, and to assign responsibilities for the administration of each Agency’s UCFE program.
