Our database contains over 20,000 currently available products from over
2,000 different companies. Each product record contains a detailed
description of the product as well as price, manufacturer and distributor
information. You will also find information on non-commercial prototypes,
customized and one-of-a-kind products, and do-it-yourself designs.
To select products most appropriate to your needs, we suggest combining
ABLEDATA information with professional advice, product evaluations, and
hands-on product trials. We also offer have listings for about 9,000
products that are no longer available for sale. If you are interested

We offer 5 ways to search our database. If you already know how
you want to search, go ahead and click on one of the choices in the toolbar
at the top of the page. If you would like an explanation of the
5 search methods, read on!
Search by Keyword.
A keyword search searches the information in the database to match the
word or phrase you enter in the keyword search box. Enter a specific word
and all product records containing that word will appear. If a phrase
or series of words is entered, the search will return records with all
of those words in the order they are entered.
Search by Product Type.
If you are not sure about what you are looking for or you just want to
browse through the types of product listed in our database, then go to
this page. You can search for a product without typing a word!
Start by selecting the product category in which you are interested; then
use your mouse to narrow your search until you select a specific product
type, at which point you can generate with the click of a mouse a list
of the products that fall under category.
Search by Company.
The company search provides a list of products manufacturered and/or distributed
by the company named in the search box. If you are looking specifically
for a company's address and phone number, that information is located
following the product description and price information in each record.
Search by Brand Name.
Enter a product's brand name and view the record(s) for product(s) with
that name.
Conduct a Boolean Search.
Boolean searching allows you to tailor your search to your specific needs.
You can choose to include or exclude words or phrases from a search
by using the boolean operators and, or, not which can be selected from
the menu on the left of each input box. Choose "and" to
include only records containing the word or phrase you type in.
Select "or" to include records containing either the word or
phrase you typed or the previous keywords entered in the search.
Choose "not" to exclude all records containing a word or phrase
from your search.
