The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) has produced two videos
for Disaster Services: one on the animal victims of disaster and the other
on disaster planning for animals. Following is a brief description and
ordering information for each video.
DS-1
The Forgotten Victims is a moving awareness piece about the
animal victims of disasters. It is not intended as a training video.
DS-2
Before Disaster Strikes: Planning for Animals
The second in a series of videos aimed at introducing communities to the
animal component in disasters, it features a mock evacuation drill in
Idaho as well as interviews with officials from emergency management and
the animal community.
