Tie Luo
Program Director Tie Luo received his B.S. in Mathematics from China University of Science and Technology, M.S. in Mathematics from Academia Sinica, and Ph.D. in Mathematics from Brandeis University. Currently he is a professor of Mathematics at the University of Texas at Arlington. The research interest of Tie Luo is in Algebraic Geometry. He has been working on problems related to birational geometry of algebraic varieties in higher dimensions.
