Leadership Planning Workshop

This workshop is one-day session to assist organizations in assessing their leadership capabilities and planning to meet their future needs. The workshop is based on the 27 Leadership Competencies which OPM developed as a profile of leadership success in the Federal government. Each workshop is tailored to the specific needs of the organization in terms of goals, group size and specific results. A typical approach involves:
  • Pre-planning between the OPM consultant and the sponsoring executive
  • Delivery of the workshop which includes introduction to leadership competencies and development planning; administration and scoring of the inventory; and an interactive session where participants draft their development plan. A full set of learning material is provided to each participant.
  • Follow up presentation to the sponsoring executive of the overall results of the inventory, and recommended development strategies pre-planning between the OPM consultant and the sponsoring executive
