Delivery Centers Locations and Transportation The "Package Plan" One Price Covers All More Information We can provide residential meeting space, lodging, food service and administrative support to Government organizations who want to conduct off-site management and executive development training, conferences, strategic planning sessions, and other events. These services are available at any one of our national training delivery centers near Washington, DC, and Denver, Colorado. An experienced Government conference meeting planner coordinates space requirements, meeting logistics, and support services so any program or event runs efficiently and effectively. Through CLCS's Management Conference Services, we welcome the opportunity to partner with you and your organization to meet your leadership development goals by offering outstanding facilities in which to conduct seminars, workshops, succession planning programs, and other events. Excellent accommodations, unique features, and special services make our locations an ideal learning environment. We offer student lounges, continuous beverage service, a resource center, a technology center with student computers, a student business center with FTS access, copiers and FAX, and a fitness center. All facilities exceed ADA requirements for accessibility. Locations and Transportation Our national centers are located at the Eastern Management Development Center (EMDC) in Shepherdstown, West Virginia; the Western Management Development Center (WMDC) in Aurora, Colorado; and the Federal Executive Institute (FEI) in Charlottesville, Virginia. Travel to any of the locations is easily accomplished. Driving is a convenient option if you live in or near the Washington, DC metropolitan area. If you travel by air, shuttle service operates between Washington Dulles Airport and the EMDC, and between Denver International Airport and the WMDC. The "Package Plan" The charge is $199 per person, per day. This represents a "package plan" that is arranged through an Interagency Agreement (or some agency transfer of funds) between your agency and the Office of Personnel Management. This means that participants do not pay for their rooms and meals on their own and are not reimbursed per diem. Generally, the Interagency Agreement simplifies procurement of facilities and services. The $199 Covers Everything Single-lodging room Three meals per day (dinner the night of arrival, breakfast and lunch the next day) Refreshment breaks Classroom and breakout space Audiovisual equipment Copies Faxes FTS phone use Use of the Technology Center (20+ PCs with internet access) Library with leadership development books and periodicals. Office space (if needed) Use of the hotel's fitness center, pool, and jacuzzi Meals are served buffet-style in the Byrd Federal Dining Room (exclusively for MDC and Management Conference Services participants). Lunch and dinner include soups, salads, hot and cold main courses, vegetables, breads, desserts, and beverages. Special dietary needs can be accommodated. Cancellation Clause If a group holding confirmed space cancels the session less than 30 calendar days from the arrival date, a cancellation penalty is charged. The penalty is based on one night's "package price" per the number of expected participants. Facilitation and custom and consultation services are not part of the "package price."
