The American Embassy's Consular Section is open to the public on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays between 8:00a.m. and 11:00 a.m. No services are rendered on weekends and holidays.

In order to be in a better position to assist you, we have allocated the following time-frame for any telephone inquiries: 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. daily.

Excluding emergency cases, we cordially request you to limit any calls to this time. Your cooperation in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Federal Benefits

* Applying for a social security number

* Applying for retirement benefits

* Reporting a change of address

* Reporting the death of a social security beneficiary

* Reporting a lost Social security check.
