Monthly Highlights
The Ground Water and Ecosystems Restoration Division (formerly Subsurface Protection and
Remediation Division) produces monthly highlights describing
research accomplishments, involvement in current technical assistance activities, and staff
participation in scientific meetings and conferences. Announcements of the release and
availability of important EPA scientific and technical reports, as well as recently published
journal articles, documenting the results of studies conducted by GWERD are also included.
GWERD's monthly highlights are incorporated with those of other Divisions within ORD's National
Risk Management Research Laboratory and selected items are posted on the NRMRL Internet site
(http://www.epa.gov/ORD/NRMRL/news.htm).
