Federal Government EPP Updates
Federal Government EPP Updates offer a wealth of technical assistance
information for organizations interested in learning about EPP. Available
to download in PDF format, each Update focuses on a specific purchasing
issue, highlights an EPP Pioneer, provides brief case studies, and other
useful resources.
Case Studies
Ranging in topic from cleaning products to parking lot repair and maintenance,
EPP case studies provide detailed information about EPP initiatives at
organizations across the country. These case studies serve as a useful
tool for both private organizations and government agencies.
Environmentally Preferable Purchasing Guides
EPP guides provide "green" purchasing information on products
and services such as electronics, food serviceware, and conference support.
Each purchasing guide describes the challenges, successes, and resources
associated with each product or service and emphasizes how to incorporate
environmental considerations into purchasing decisions.
For Vendors
Environmental Marketing Claims
Information for vendors on how to develop accurate and legal environmental
marketing claims. Provides background on the National guidelines developed
by the Federal Trade Commission for the use of environmental claims in
advertising and labeling.
