Welcome to the Internet Home Page of the Atlantic Ecology Division (AED)
of the U.S. EPA Office of Research and Development National Health and
Environmental Effects Research Laboratory. This World Wide Web (WWW) site
has been created to provide information regarding the Division's staff,
scientific mission, facilities, and research activities. AED conducts
research focused on the environmental quality of the Atlantic Coast. Researchers
develop and evaluate theory, methods, and data needed to measure and understand
the environmental effects of human activity on the watersheds of the Atlantic
seaboard.
