The Air and Radiation Docket and Information Center (The Docket) contains information on Air and Radiation rules and proposed rules. The Docket is composed of Federal Register Notices, the rules, and supporting documentation for the rules. Public comments received on the rule are also maintained in the Docket.

As part of the rulemaking process the public can comment on proposed and final rules. The rule makings currently open for public comment are available at http://www.epa.gov/oar/docket/comment.html. Please address your written comments to the Environmental Protection Agency, EPA Docket Center (EPA/DC), Air and Radiation Docket, Mail Code 6102T, 1200 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W., Washington, DC 20460. E-mail comments may be sent to the A-and-R-Docket@epamail.epa.gov.

Organization

The material is organized by docket number. Within the docket number is an index that list all the material in the Docket. A reference file that lists all the dockets by subject title is also used to locate material.

Operation

The Air and Radiation Docket is operated by contract personnel from Arctic Slope Regional Corporation. The Docket is located at 1301 Constitution Avenue, N.W.,Washington, D.C., room B-102. The Docket is open to the public on all federal government work days from 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. The Docket will accept phone and fax requests for material. A reasonable fee is charged for the duplication of materials.

The Air and Radiation Docket is part of the EPA Docket (EDOCKET). Some dockets are now available in this system. The dockets available in the system can be searched and the material is available in PDF file format which can be downloaded and printed. The address for EDOCKET is http://www.epa.gov/edocket.

A List of all the dockets in the Air and Radiation Docket and Information Center are in the attached PDF file called Docket Index (137KB). The dockets that are available in EDOCKET are listed in the PDF file called EDOCKET (95KB). Both of these files will be updated the first of each month.
