Work Plan for Registration of Conventional Pesticides

FY2004 New Chemical Registration Candidates

FY2004 Work Plan Candidates List
Food-Use Inert Registration Candidates
New Use Candidates for Already-Registered Chemicals

The conventional chemicals FY2004 Work Plan identifies 18 new chemical candidates for decision-making during the fiscal year. From these 18 candidates, the Agency anticipates making 12 registration decisions. Five (5) of these chemicals have fifteen (15) associated uses classified as "reduced-risk" (PDF, 10pp., 113KB). Two (2) of these chemicals have nineteen (19) associated uses classified as organophosphate alternatives. Three (3) of these chemicals have seven (7) associated uses classified as methyl bromide alternatives.

NOTE: You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader, available as a free download, to view some of the files on this page. See EPA's PDF page to learn more about PDF, and for a link to the free Acrobat Reader.

The work plan includes more candidates than anticipated actual decisions. It serves as a candidate pool for achieving the registration program's regulatory goals for the fiscal year and has historically included more decision candidates than anticipated completions to ensure that the Agency's regulatory goals are met.
