Modernizing the national enforcement and compliance data systems to meet the challenges of tomorrow.

What is ICIS?

The Integrated Compliance Information System (ICIS) supports the information needs of the National Enforcement and Compliance program as well as the unique needs of the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) program. ICIS will integrate data that is currently located in more than a dozen separate data systems. The Web-based system will eventually enable individuals from states, communities, facilities, and EPA to access integrated enforcement and compliance data from any desktop connected to the Internet. EPA's ability to target the most critical environmental problems will improve as the system integrates data from all media.

ICIS Features:

  • Desktop access
  • Web-based
  • Integrated Data
  • Real time entry and retrieval of data
  • Powerful Reporting capabilities
  • Easy to use
