The National Compliance Data Base System (NCDB) tracks regional compliance and enforcement activity, and manages the Pesticides and Toxic Substances Compliance and Enforcement program at a national level. The system tracks all compliance monitoring and enforcement activities from the time an inspector conducts an inspection until the time the inspector closes the case or settles the enforcement action. NCDB is the national repository of data from the (ten) regional and Headquarters FIFRA/TSCA Tracking System (FTTS). Data collected in the regional FTTS is transferred to NCDB to support the need for monitoring national performance of the following programs:

  • Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA)
  • Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA)
  • Emergency Planning and Right-to-Know Act, Section 313 (EPCRA)
  • Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response (AHERA)

For more information on NCDB please contact James A. Johnson on (202) 564-2501 or email johnson.jamesa@epa.gov.
